- How did you get started doing this type of work?
My mom was a photographer for the Army, and when she got out, she went on to be an art teacher. She has always been artistic. I can not draw, paint, or even color to save my life.. but I can take a darn good picture. She taught me at a young age that pictures and photography was a way of life. She was right. I can remember in high school, the only class I looked forward to was my photography class. I think that was when I decided to make it my way of life.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I do all sorts of Family Photography. I do baby first birthday, engagements, couples sessions, kids milestones, and senior portraits. I also do military homecomings. Army, Navy, Marines, or Air Force. I will travel the island to find the perfect place for your pictures, and always have a good stash of props with me!
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
No matter what kind of session you are looking for, always makes sure the photographer matches your style. Also take a peek into a photographers portfolio before you decide on which photographer best fits for you. Try not to use the price point as your indicator. The best pictures are not cheap :)
