FAQs
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Continuing education in the photography field is imperative. In order to stay on top of my field and to continually grow I attend several workshops, shoot outs (which are organized groups of several photographers who choose to photograph a particular look for the day/evening), and classes online. I attend and pay for these classes so that I can offer my clients the best work possible. There is always a new way of doing something or learning from someone else who may do it a bit different. I take the knowledge I learn whether it be from a workshop or creative live and apply it to my current work. When looking for a photographer it is important to seek one out who is always trying to make their next session better than the last.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Serendipity Photography specializes in couple's, weddings, and births, along with commercial photography. This includes engagement sessions, normal couple's photos. I also offer headshots for models & businesses/associates.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Some advice I would give to the prospective client looking for that perfect photographer is this: Research your potential photographers. Look at their portfolios and make sure that you enjoy their vision, their editing style, and their final product. The images you receive after your session should be images you would be proud to hang on your wall. They are an investment and you want to make sure that your investment is a good one. Along with enjoying their product, email them to make sure you can form a connection so as to ensure a comfortable and relaxed photo session. Part of your photography session should be about a pleasant experience, n experience that is fun and unique so that your photos reflect that.
