FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My approach is very personalized and unique in that I actually "make house calls." This means that I come to my clients' homes for their training. I also provide all the necessary equipment used in their program as well, which as an added value. Given these things, my standard fee is $30 per hour. I do have special rates if I train more than one client in each session (simultaneously), which is perfect for couples who want to train together!
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I meet with them in their home or at a place of their choosing so we can get to know each other and get a good "feel" for how we interact. That's extremely important to me! I ask lots of questions about them and their goals and priorities, and answer all their questions as well. If they decide to get started, I schedule an initial session where I go over things like using proper form and breathing, heart rate, posture, correct ranges and planes of motion, and what I call the "anatomy of a repetition." In short, we start by ensuring that they know and are comfortable with the 'how' and the 'why' of all the aspects of their training, right down to each respective movement from beginning to end.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am certified by the American Council on Exercise (A.C.E. Certification #T181223), and have also completed numerous courses and extensive training in functional training, nutrition, kinetic movement, and physiology.
