About

I will pet sit for you when needed, in your home, as I feel that our pets are most comfortable there. I have been a pet owner (two dogs and five cats) my entire life and worked at a dog boarding facility and volunteer with a local animal rescue. I occasionally will do dog boarding in my own home but only if the animal is comfortable there. I will travel to your home to let your dogs outside to potty, feed and play with them and anything else needed. I will also take care of feeding/littering cats as well. I currently do pet sitting for my family and friends. I work full-time but will care for your pets before I go to work and after I get off work, and anytime on weekends.

Paula is fantastic! I was reluctant to have a pet sitter as I’ve always relied on relatives to care for my cats while away but this year, that wasn’t an option. I really didn’t know what to expect and when I spoke to others about it, they questioned what I was doing. Having a stranger come into my house, to care for my cat, while I was away. Exactly! Well, Paula eased my mind and she exceeded my expectations! She came over to the house a few times before we left and while we were gone, she did a great job. I’m rather picky, I admit, yet she knew exactly what I’d want. She’s definitely a lover of animals. We were able to go away and know that our cat was being taken care of just like we’d have done, had we’d been home. I’ll definitely call her again and again. She’s a keeper!

Paula is amazing and cat lovers will immediately recognize her as a kindred spirit. She sincerely cares about all animals and only wants the best for them. Her understanding of what pets need when their owners are away makes it easy to trust that my cat Ella is being well taken care of while I'm not there. I will be calling Paula every time I have to go out of town from now on.

It all depends on how many pets are going to be taken care of.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I review their request, what kind of animals and how many, and any other tasks they are requesting to be done. I respond with my quote and also write a note to them that I encourage a meet and greet so they can me me and I can meet their pets they want me to care for.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I worked at a local dog boarding facility for 2 years while I was going to college. I also have volunteered with a local animal rescue, taking care of the animals they have at their adoption center and also have helped with fundraising. I have had my own dogs/cats my whole life and am very comfortable around all kinds!
