FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing is by the project, not by the hour. Most everything is customized by client needs as every client is different, although I do have some consulting, training, and peer-group facilitation pricing plans.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am involved in industry groups, peer business groups, competitive tactical evaluations, and online research on a near daily basis. The only thing certain in life is change... so, I embrace it so my clients can adapt instead of react.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
They say need is the mother of all invention. After working with clients and building relationships, my clients were seeing the results my advice brought them. It was a slow, building process, but over time, those clients began to see me as a "most trusted adviser" because I gave them honest opinions about media options. Some of that advice actually cost me commissions and they realized that their success was more important to me than my own. So, many started to seek my opinion on other business matters. Soon, everything from sales to training, to operations, to budgeting, even staffing, all became open discussions. Through the years in working with small businesses to worldwide advertising agencies, to members of Congress, and Fortune 100 & 500 companies, I learned a lot that I could transition to other business owners that didn't have the benefit of my experiences. Becoming a teacher, trusted adviser, colleague, and resource was a natural progression. Developing that trust with my clients was my most valuable asset because ensuring their business grew and remained successful, ensured my business would grow and remain successful. However, beyond success, seeing their personal lives transform because my clients were no longer enslaved to their business and enjoying life more really became the motivation behind expanding my knowledge and experience to others in need. So, once again, my business changed in that providing sanity in the business model of others became my guiding principle. I never expected that changing lives for the better would become a tangible (and motivating) business premise, but it certainly has become just that!
