Introduction: Fifty-Fifty represents balance, because writing is all about balance. This is going to sound extreme but it sums up what I'm all about: Nobody cares about spelling and grammar. Now, that statement could easily be misunderstood in our world, but let's have a quick look around. First, our computers (and even smartphones) correct spelling for us. If we are to judge great writing or great writers by spelling, anyone who can right-click through a Facebook post wins. Second, bad grammar is usually a matter of either impatience, or an imagination calibrated for "easy mode." It sure is EASY when we are allowed to simply write things the way they sound in our heads isn't it? Well, unfortunately our reach into the hearts and minds of others doesn't come from the words and phrases we love most. Expression is a two-way street. I am working on a book about how to improve your writing, or the writing of anyone else, in 1 single hour. The book draws from my experience in Customer Care, Customer Experience, Marketing, Sales, and at a University Writing Center. Between technical writing skill and pure expression lies a balance.
