Introduction: For the last ten years, I have taught individual and small group piano lessons to four-year-old children, students in grades 1 to 12, college students, and adults ages 40 to 60. I have also taught beginner bagpipers ages 10 to 65.
Before that, I worked for fourteen years as a speech and language pathologist, providing treatment in hospitals, homes, schools, nursing homes, and universities.
These experiences have reinforced one of my strong convictions: As I teach the piano to students, my involvement with their family and teachers -- and communication with everyone between lessons -- greatly enhances their individual progress. It enriches their enjoyment of music, helps ensure their attainment of higher-level music studies and career, and/or strengthens their foundations for learning other instruments later.
I hope, therefore, that you will contact me soon. I love to teach music!
