Introduction: I have taught yoga for four years and am also 200-hour certified through Power Life Yoga. I have trained with prominent yoga community figures, Mathew Koder and Ben Spellman (Good Vibes), and continue my education by training with oneOeight, wanderlust and various studios when I travel. My style is focused on breath work, making each power pose feel like a moving meditation. My classes include community activities, affirmations, visualizations and temple massages. I currently teach at multiple Y locations several times a week, I have taught Power Yoga, Yoga Essentials, Vinyasa flow, Restorative Yoga, Chair Yoga and Kid's Yoga. I am involved with the DM Yoga community, I help plan community events as well as teach community classes.
I strongly encourage you to be where you are, where you are is where you need to be and we will build from there. Yoga has came into your life for a reason, let me guide you to your truest and best self. No one is you and that is your power, I can't wait to show you that!
I love seeing people make the practice their own and connect their breath to their movement. I love guiding people to honor their breath and what their body calls them to do. Through the connection of breath and movement, they are developing a relationship with themselves and allowing themselves to connect to self/spirit and be more free on and off their mat. I have seen transformation with not only the physical practice but emotionally and mentally with my students. I am so grateful that yoga has came into my life to heal me and allow me to be more aware, through this I am able to give the gift of yoga and teach the path that I have walked. I have been blessed to give the gift of self-love, self-care and connection to my students.
