Jason did a great job helping my wife and I replace some sketchy, open spliced knob and tube wiring in our attic and walls, and a few other smaller items. We had just purchased this property, and were grateful to find someone so responsive and willing to have the work done before we moved in, and at a very reasonable price. I was impressed with the 45 minutes he took to scope out the wiring. He found a few switches utilizing the knob and tube as well, of which we were not aware. Other electrical contractors we approached spent maybe 10 minutes... We were happy to find the work area and the house cleaned up as well, when all was said and sone.
Altogether professional and respectful. Very happy with his work.

After a run of bad luck with contractors not showing up (or showing up, promising a quote then being "ghosted") Jason was a breath of fresh air. Showed up on time to provide a quote. Showed up and on time to do the work. He was friendly, efficient, cleaned up every bit of mess he made and explained what work he had done. Great price, outstanding work. I will definitely use Jason in the future for electrical jobs.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing can vary a bit depending on the project: I charge a little more if I need to work on live high voltages, after normal business hours, in an attic or crawlspace, or at heights above normal.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
New customers get either a verbal quote after supplying me with job information or I physically look at the project and give an estimate. For service calls an hourly, half day, or day rate can be used. Payment is required upon completion of work, I do not bill for payment unless discussed prior to project. If a client simply wants an estimate, I will be happy to look at the project, but will charge a fee equivalent to Thumbtack's "lead" fee, to offset costs.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Completed 5 year electrical apprenticeship, on the job training, continuing education to keep license up to date.
