Excellent company! Called and set appointment. They came out but not before calling us 30 minutes before arriving. Our service technician was Dustin and he was very professional, friendly and knowledgeable. He found the reason we heard noise when our air conditioner was on and fixed it. He checked our furnace, our thermostat (needed batteries) and installed a new filter for us and vacuumed the vent cover for us! Preventive maintenance is so important and we were happy we didn't let the issue go on and called Shanco Heating & Air. We will definitely use them for all our air/heating needs.

I highly recommend Shanco for your hvac services! I put out a message to a few companies in the area and they replied within minutes and I had an appointment the next morning. Dustin called in advance as advertised and showed up right on time. Very professional and personable guy...found the problem and offered a wide range of options for different budgets and I chose the platinum because it was a very fair price. 2 year warranty and follow up annual inspection included and my ac is kicking like new!! The other companies have still not replied back... I’m using these guys from now on!

Dustin did outstanding work for me. I needed help with the more technical aspects of installing a mini-split AC/Heat Pump: cutting and flaring copper lines, connecting the lines, and pressurizing the system. I was really please with Dustin's work and definitely will call Shanco again for future HVAC needs.

Cody was great! He explained the issues clearly, gave a recommendation but didn’t try to push me into doing anything. He also took a look at my furnace and found it was leaking exhaust, and fixed it and the noise it was making! Professional, on time, courteous, and great work!! Highly recommend!

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I graduated from the Northwest HVAC/R Association and Training Center in 2011. I have attended many different classes and events to continue to increase my knowledge of this ever changing trade. I have both my Idaho HVAC Journeyman License, as well as my Idaho HVAC Contractors License.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Ensure that the HVAC contractor that you decide to offer has all the correct licenses and insurance. Check out online reviews on a few different online platforms, to ensure the contractor is trustworthy and reliable.
