In the past year I've relocated, married, started a new job, and tragically lost a young member of my family. I'm a woman in her late 40s, so the weight was piling on. I started working with Vicki about 6 months ago. With her guidance, not only have I stopped the weight gain, but I've managed to lose 15 pounds. I read quite a bit and thought I had read everything about nutrition, yet I was still packing on the pounds. Through all of the questions I've asked Vicki (thinking all of my questions are very advanced, naturally) she has always had an answer. She is impressively well-educated and knowledgeable in her field. Not only that, but If I say I don't like a particular item or process, she tries a different approach - she is quite patient and adapts well. Everyone's program is tailored to their specific needs and mine has been incredibly effective. Not only do I feel fantastic as I'm losing weight, but I have steady energy all day; I'm sleeping well; my mood is upbeat in spite of tremendous stress; and I've learned many things about how I function. Vicki is wonderful! I was struggling with knowing how to read ingredient labels, what foods I need to be eating, and what nutrients I need to prioritize in my budget. Vicki really helped me with all of these things. I feel a lot more confident eating natural ingredients, and overall I make better food choices. I did fall off of my eating plan a few times, but Vicki was never judgmental and always gave me tips for how to get back on track, how to improve my sleep, and how to manage my anxiety. I absolutely would recommend Vicki to anyone looking to learn how to eat healthier overall.

This is hands down the best program I have been involved in. Vicki is extremely knowledgeable about nutrition and healthy weight loss and does a great job sharing her knowledge in a very clear and understandable way. The first appointment we full of great useable information that gets right down to meat of the program to help you understand what it’s about and what you need to do to get real results. I am loving the results I have gotten so far at a month in and am very motivated and excited to see where I’ll be in the next couple of months!   • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

    MANY LEVELS AND LENGTHS OF SUPPORT: Because I have many levels and lengths of support, please book a FREE Nutrition Assessment to run through what will work best for you and your budget. I offer discounts and packages. Details on appointment types and packages at my website under the CONSULTATIONS tab. The packages are bundled so your appointments will be much less per appointment in a package.

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

    STEP 1: I offer a FREE nutrition assessment so we can run how my highly successful, custom eating plans work, what is involved, how we harness the power of your hormones to optimise fat loss, health and performance, and the best options for you and your budget. I have many levels and lengths of support to choose from. I'm sure we can find something that will work great for you. STEP 2: Once you have decided on the right program of you, we will book the 1 hour Food Design appointment and run through WHEN you will be eating (based on your schedule), HOW MUCH protein/carb/fat your body needs at each meal and snack, and WHAT protein/carb/fat you will be eating at each meal and snack. I will put together the structure and then 'you' decide on what foods you would like to put into that structure with my guidance. We will workshop this until you are completely happy with what you will be doing. STEP 3: 1 week later we will start 30 minute support consultations that will include dietary, clinical, hormonal, behavioural, stress management, exercise support. These appointments are generally weekly for the first month and then every other week thereafter.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

    3 DEGREE'S AND 25+ YEARS EXPERIENCE: I have a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition & Food Science with a minor in Exercise Physiology, a Graduate Diploma in Clinical Nutrition, a Graduate Diploma in Herbal Medicine, and am a Reiki master in 2 streams of Reiki. I have worked in restaurant kitchen's and cafe's and have a large range of creative and delicious recipes and food idea's. I am professionally registered as a Clinical Nutritionist and have over 25 years experience working in weight loss, hormonal control through diet, allergies, and athletic performance. For registration as a Nutritionist, it is a requirement to partake in continued education each year. I subscribe to journals, participate in webinars, constantly read relevant books and research. I have a passion for being up to date with nutrition and weight loss and am constantly integrating cutting edge technology and knowledge into my eating plans.
