I hold my Bachelor's and Master's degree in voice performance with over a decade of classical training. In addition, I have extensive professional experience performing in the genres of Jazz, Pop, R&B, country, as well as performance experience in musical theater. I understand the mechanics of the vocal instrument very well, having studied vocal pedagogy for years. My knowledge, experience, ability and application to teaching create a unique and successful studio experience.

Beautiful and God Gifted Stephanie Smith,
Simply Awesome!, she renew my faith in a world ,I didn't think it was possible to return to after 27 years!
I am a MS Survivor and believe me she is the best!
I thought my vocal dream was dead and my son a Boise State Football Alumni, didn't even have any knowledge of me singing until I asked him to set in on my session with her. My doctor said, Do return to what you love! Live each day like its your last!
So on my visit to Boise, I took a risk to find a teacher on thumbtack...to return to the mic! She listens to where you want to go with your musical dream and will make it happen! With me, it may be a little slower but I hope to have a stage audience spot at a place in Boise with live music or even a jazz restaurant or golf club. She great with children and adults and I will always travel from NC to Idaho just for her! No one can push my vocals to another level but her!

Took four lessons as my first attempt at something other than self directed vocal training. I wanted to get some affirmation of how to approach improving my vocal technique. Stephanie is very knowledgeable and flexible and I learned a great deal in only two hours of class time.
