Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I normally ask what the budget is and then try to offer what fits that budget.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Like to hear what the customerstatus vision is and see how I can make that happen for them.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am always looking at the creative things others in my field have used and equipment they use. Currently learning what they do and adapting it to the way I work is always going on so that I can provide the best work for my customers.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have done photography since I was in my teens and loved being creative and trying to show what I was seeing.
What types of customers have you worked with?
Event documentation in pictures and creative photography for promotions.
Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
Creative face pictures for a companies web site.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Always look at the work they have done. If you see something you like ask about it for your project. Ask if they have any equipment that might help them bring your project to light.
What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
There is technical photography where everything is done by the book and you can see that work everywhere then there is photography where you get the same basic work but it catches your eye, this is done by breaking the rules.
