FAQs
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am always keeping up on the new technology as it comes out. Technical aspects as well as repair procedures. My parts supplier offers training on all of the new product parts available and I always complete the training within 2 weeks of when the technology is released. I also buy broken devices from customers to take apart and test new methods of repairs and abilities.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I love technology and figuring out how it works. I have been in the situation with an expensive computer/tablet/smartphone that is broken with the only option being a mail in repair to the manufacturer at a very high cost. So, I decided to research parts suppliers for the newest technology to see if i could feasibly repair it myself. Upon finding a wonderful parts supplier and many successful repairs, I decided to offer my services to other people in need of a good high quality repair for their devices.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Replacing cracked iPhone screens, broken power buttons on smartphones/tablets/MP3 players and computer repairs (viruses, software issues)
