Introduction: I look to educate the client first and foremost. I do that by educating myself first. I hold a number of pool industry certifications all geared towards giving the client accurate and complete information before a contract is signed. I really enjoy the clients. What other industry just walks into people's back yards, knows their dogs name and gets offers cold drinks?

My pricing system isn't complicated. I provide proposals, some with options, some without.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I love attending the International Pool and Spa Expo. There are a ton of excellent courses. I also attend manufacturer trainings and I continue to keep myself current so I can maintain my National Swimming Pool Foundation instructors license.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I stumbled into the pool industry when I was a groundskeeper. Pools were part of my duties at a resort hotel.
