- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
For portraits I only charge a session fee of $100 which includes travel up to 30 miles from Algonquin, IL. After the session, you will have to the opportunity to view your photos on an online gallery prior to making a purchase. Images can be delivered via Online Download, USB, physical prints, or DVD format. Please contact me for my full list of pricing for physical prints or digital negatives!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I graduated with a degree in Photography from the University of Illinois in 2011. I then went on to graduate with a degree in art education which led me to a career as an art teacher. I see my photography as an extension of my own art form that I love to share with everyone!
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
After having my own (not so great) experience with a wedding photographer from a large company, I thought to myself that I could gift a better experience to a bride and groom on their big day as well as deliver images that allow them to relive their moments for years to come. As a portrait photographer, my love for capturing newborn, kiddie, and family portraits really stems from my love of documenting my own kiddos growing up. Sometimes I feel like I blink and my babies already started looking like boys! I love helping families capture a little moment in time whether their babies are 5 days old, 10 years old, or 20+ years old!
