Well, to start off with, I was taking a few days to see my daughter in Denver. I was sitting at the airport waiting for my flight when I received a notification about my credit card for $3500 for attorney fees. My soon to be x wife got a jump on everything. So, being I was unfamiliar with Chicago area because we only lived in Algonquin for a few years and didn’t need a attorney for anything other than the paperwork for a home we bought ( with my families money ) and thank goodness we put a note on the house as a loan from my parents through our trust fund. My soon to be x was told about it but apparently forgot about it. She went into full throttle thinking she was getting half of the house. $250,000 We were only married for almost 4 years and she came into the marriage with nothing but debt which of course I helped her out financially over our short term relationship. I hired Megan and it took a while for things to get moving on account of her attorneys unresponsive and neglect to get back to her on pretty much everything. He thought he won before it even started. Megan was persistent and professional during this drug out divorce. This whole time I was thinking about what my legal fees were going to be. Not because of Megan’s time and energy but because my x,s attorney and not getting back with anything. Ended up getting settled and in my favor. My x had to pay for her own attorney fees and she got the car and a few bills. I was scared at first but Megan made it look easy and made me feel very comfortable from the get go. And we settled up as we went along. It took almost a year I think and it was all because of unreasonable expectations from my x and her attorney. Megan’s fees were absolutely right on track and affordable. I definitely recommend her. Smart, professional and just a very nice gal who knows what she’s doing. Thanks for getting back my life. 👍👍 Sincerely, Daniel Feldker

Megan has done a fabulous job meeting our legal needs when we were buying our house and also when making some parts of our will. She’s fun and professional at the same time and really enjoys helping her clients! She knows what she’s doing and can explain things very well in not legal terms for us who don’t understand those typically. I 100% recommend her for your legal needs!
