FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I will adjust my labor costs to save you money. My goal is to offer fence installation at a reasonable price compared to established companies. You shouldn't have to go into debt for a quality fence––let's work together. The prices below exclude materials (sections, post, gate hardware, concrete). These vary based on your preference and are your responsibility to pay for in full, but I will pick up materials for you. - What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I reach out on Thumbtack, looking for customers ready to hire. If the customer is interested, I answer their questions and try to negotiate price to fit their needs. My first visit to the property allows me to determine material needs and speak with the customer about their specific concerns. Following visits are devoted to installation. I require a 50% down payment at the first meeting if the customer agrees I am the man for the job.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have two years of experience working for the fence company Cedar Mountain. We worked rain or shine, long days, all year, and now I've decided to get back into fencing on my own. I have 2 years installing and repairing, and building fence independently.
