- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I like to customize my pricing to the client. However, as a guideline: $35/hr Data Entry/Payroll $50/hr Month-End or Tax Preparation $65/hr Costing Work I prefer to put together a packaged set price for my clients. It helps them to budget, neither of us is watching the clock, and it generally creates more satisfied clients.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I will spend time briefly talking with a client to find out what their goals and known issues are. Then, I will spend some time looking through their current financial statements, to become familiar with their business, and to also see if I find any questions.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and a Masters Degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting. I have been a college professor, teaching accounting for six years, and have been working in my field for eighteen years. I have worked with clients in many different industries, and have a background in cost accounting.
