I like my clients to leave as new friends and with use of the best of the best, we make sure our prices stay competitive and reasonable all while putting the client first. For prom my senior year of high school, I wanted a flexible free lance make up artist to do my makeup to help save time and work with my schedule more efficiently. I found Melanie on thumbtack after sending in a request. After reaingd her reviews and bio, I was already impressed by everything people were saying about her and her makeup philosophy. Melanie and I met and imediately I could tell she was a genuinely friendly and caring person yet still super proffessional person who was excited to do my makeup. After describing what I wanted for my trial, she efficiently did my make up. However, due to my lack of pictures and cosmetic terminology, I didn't communicate properly what I truly wanted for my makeup. Seeing that I didn't care for the makeup, I showed Melanie some pictures of what I really wanted and she explained to me that we went in the wrong direction that day and allowed me to have another trial for free! The next trial went 1000X better and I fell in love with the makeup! The day of prom, Melanie areived on time, did my makeup flawlessly, and was super kind and friendly throughout our entire session. I am so happy to have met Melanie and to have had my makeup done by her! She is truly an exceptional hardworker who always succeeds to make her clients happy and feel phenomenal about their makeup. I will definitely be hiring her again when I have the oppourtunity!

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I attended and completed the professional makeup course at the New Age Spa Institue for makeup. I have also completed a full eyelash extension certification course.
What types of customers have you worked with?
My most common type of work is bridal and pageant queens. I love the high glamour needed for both of these groups.
