With Melanie's Make-up Artistry we take the time to make sure the client feels comfortable, confident and educated. I like my clients to leave as new friends and with use of the best of the best, we make sure our prices stay competitive and reasonable all while putting the client first. The one thing I love the most about artistry is the smile your client gives back at you when they look into that mirror. It makes everything worth while.

For prom my senior year of high school, I wanted a flexible free lance make up artist to do my makeup to help save time and work with my schedule more efficiently. I found Melanie on thumbtack after sending in a request. After reaingd her reviews and bio, I was already impressed by everything people were saying about her and her makeup philosophy. Melanie and I met and imediately I could tell she was a genuinely friendly and caring person yet still super proffessional person who was excited to do my makeup. After describing what I wanted for my trial, she efficiently did my make up. However, due to my lack of pictures and cosmetic terminology, I didn't communicate properly what I truly wanted for my makeup. Seeing that I didn't care for the makeup, I showed Melanie some pictures of what I really wanted and she explained to me that we went in the wrong direction that day and allowed me to have another trial for free! The next trial went 1000X better and I fell in love with the makeup! The day of prom, Melanie areived on time, did my makeup flawlessly, and was super kind and friendly throughout our entire session. I am so happy to have met Melanie and to have had my makeup done by her! She is truly an exceptional hardworker who always succeeds to make her clients happy and feel phenomenal about their makeup. I will definitely be hiring her again when I have the oppourtunity!

I honestly went With Melanie due to her attitude, charisma and passion. She took all of her qualities and made my day extremely noteable! My make up looked great! Melanie is a true perfectionist. She truly gets a feel for what her clients are looking for and uses that, along with her professional opinions, in order to make her clients up. She does a wonderful job and takes her time. All of her products are top of the line and the makeup lasts all day. Melanie's work really does speak for itself.

Melanie is an outstanding artist and an exceptional woman all around. She did my makeup for my wedding and I've never in my life felt so beautiful. She made me feel absolutely amazing. My makeup was absolutely flawless, It felt so light and my eyes looked outstanding! Her contouring is out of this world, my pretty much non existent cheek bones never looked so great! I'm just so happy! I had Melanie by my side all day until I walked down the aisle, and I couldn't be more grateful to of had someone so remarkable beside me making sure I looked and felt amazing. I never felt like she was just my makeup artist, I felt like she was another friend beside me. She makes you feel so comfortable! Not once did she not have a smile on her face, she truly loves what she does and it shows through her work and personality. Melanie not only did an exceptional job on my makeup but she also helped me with many other things and she did not need to do that but offered with no hesitation. Such as helping me get shoes on, holding my dress train, helping me up and down during pictures or stairs, helping out my bridal party when they had makeup issues, helping me get my jewelry cleaned and ready, etc. She was truly amazing all around and I will without a doubt be using her many more times in the future and referring her to all my friends and family. She's an incredible woman and I'm honored to have had her do my makeup on my special day! Anyone who has the pleasure of working with her will never be disappointed! I attended and completed the professional makeup course at the New Age Spa Institue for makeup. I have also completed a full eyelash extension certification course.
What types of customers have you worked with?
My most common type of work is bridal and pageant queens. I love the high glamour needed for both of these groups.
