James is beyond great, professional, and definitely has a great eye for photography. He captured great memories of my wedding day and my pictures turned out great! James went above and beyond helping my preacher find the location, he stayed over to make sure Kyle and I was pleased. He did not rush me and has a great sense or humor to make natural laughing easier for pictures. I will definitely hire James again or recommend him. If you have a big day or need simple family photos he is definitely the one to pick!!!

I thoroughly loved everything Jimmy did for our wedding! He was there when everyone was getting ready, and they are some of my favorites amount the photos take that day. He met with us before hand also to go over get we wanted to see and get done, plus he was very patient with us when we hit a few bumps in the road!

Jimmy photographed our daughter's wedding last September. the pictures are amazing - all of the traditional shots you would expect, but so much more. He had some very unique ideas for special photos of the wedding couple, the rings, the venue, etc. Jimmy is so personable that everyone felt comfortable around him. He mingled all day and evening and we have candid shots of every guest and the wedding party. We would highly recommend him for any event!

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I usually plan to meet in person over lunch or dinner to discuss pricing and details about what the client is looking for. I bring an outline and contract to every consultation.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am self-taught, a graduate student from McHenry County College who studied Digital Imaging I, II, and III, and a current student at Columbia College in Chicago majoring in Photography who is studying Digital Imaging, Advanced Lighting classes, and more.
