FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Every case is different. Much of what goes into determining the costs of legal services is learned in the first few meetings between the attorney and a prospective client. Prior to stepping into a case, I offer a free consultation. This way I can give my clients the opportunity to tell me about their case and we can determine how best to structure my fee to maximize my services for them.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When a someone is looking for a divorce attorney, something has gone terribly wrong. You are not just a client. You are a person who is going through one of the hardest experiences in your life. I have been there. In addition to being a lawyer, I am also a divorced father. I spend a lot of time getting to know you and your unique situation. I always make a point of explaining your options and what the law says about your position. We will complete a detailed analysis of your financial and personal situation and that of your spouse.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I attended law school at the John Marshall Law School in Chicago.
