I could write a book on how good my experience was, but I’ll keep this short(ish.) Carpenter’s Finish Classic Design made my bathroom remodel a painless experience. Jamada responded to my initial inquiry in a timely manner and provided a fair estimate within 24-hours of stopping by to take measurements. His contract clearly stated the cost for each element of the remodel (shower, plumbing, cabinetry, etc.) as well as the items that I was responsible for supplying. I have pretty simple tastes so his design suggestions, based on his years of experience, were much appreciated and helped my bathroom come together. He was available for me when I had questions before and during the project. When I needed guidance while in the tile store ridiculously early on a Saturday morning, he responded immediately, allowing me to make an informed decision. Surprisingly, they were able to start my job within 3-weeks of our initial contact and the estimated completion was on target.
Jamada's crew was attentive to both protecting the areas outside of the demo and cleaning when the day ended. They checked in with me on the placement of items like the towel bar, tissue holder and cabinet pulls, as well as tile design, so that no mistakes were made. They were all very professional, knowledgeable and kind from Jamada to his seasoned foreman (Thiago) to his interns, and everyone in between.
I consider myself lucky that I found CFCD and I’m already envisioning cabinets that they can add in my guest room to create additional storage. Bottom line: fair price, exceptional work, quality human beings.

I hired Carpenters Finish to help complete my gut renovation after my first contractor failed to finish the work he promised.
Not only was I skeptical about hiring another contractor from Thumbtack, but I was also deeply discouraged about finishing my renovation at all. Jamada’s communication and professionalism put my fears at ease.
From day one, he really listened to my design ideas. Every detail I cared about—the feature fireplace wall, two-tone kitchen cabinets with brass mesh, and the lighting—was executed thoughtfully and with a “how do we make this even better?” attitude.
He was clear about timelines, change orders, and costs, and he never disappeared when things got complicated. When other vendors dropped the ball or caused delays, he helped problem-solve instead of pointing fingers. He also respected building rules and my HOA, which is huge in a high-rise.
I couldn’t be happier with the end result. The craftsmanship and finishes turned out even better than I imagined. You can tell he cares about quality and takes pride in his work.
