- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My base rate is $50/hour, 2 hour minimum. I do not charge to come out to inspect the job unless it’s a substantial distance away from my base location (Oswego, IL). My rates are based on material costs, intensity of the work required and average time to complete. I am flexible and will provide discounts for larger jobs. If permitting and bond is required(typically on large commercial jobs) I include that cost in the overall cost of the job. Those fees vary by city/town
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to ask questions in order to get as much information about the job as possible. I’ll often times visit the site to get a visual of the scope of the job. That allows me to give the client an accurate quote, ideally, within their budget
