FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I start by gathering as much information as possible about the customer’s needs. This includes understanding the type of electrical work required, the scope of the project, and any specific issues or concerns they have. Discussing the budget and timeline expectations is essential to set the right expectations for the project’s scale and completion. Based on the initial consultation and site assessment, I prepare a detailed quote that outlines the scope of work, materials, labor costs, and estimated completion time. I may suggest additional improvements or upgrades that would enhance the safety, efficiency, or longevity of the system, depending on the project. Once the customer reviews and approves the estimate, we move forward with the project. This includes addressing any questions or revisions they may have. During the job, I ensure all work is done according to local codes, regulations, and safety standards. This might include installing new wiring, upgrading electrical panels, troubleshooting issues, or performing routine maintenance. I maintain clear communication with the customer throughout the process to ensure they’re informed of progress, any potential challenges, or unexpected findings. After the work is completed, I perform any necessary testing to ensure everything is functioning correctly and safely. I do a final walkthrough with the customer to explain the work completed, answer any questions, and ensure they are satisfied with the results. After the job is complete, I check in with the customer to ensure everything is working as expected. If there are any issues or questions, I address them promptly.
