Introduction: As a design-build company, we integrate design and construction services to create a more seamless and cost effective experience for our clients. We work on renovations, new construction and development. Our projects range from bathroom remodels to full multi-family housing. We had a fantastic experience with the Blake group. We only had a short period of time from the closing until we had to move in. We were given a cost estimate and a time estimate for the work. The project relied on the creativity of Rich Gillman and the fact that he was on sight every day. He also met with us weekly to give us a progress report. At Rich’s suggestion, the dining room wall was taken down and the ceiling lowered to give us a wide open living room/dining room. This completely changed the apartment. A new walk-in closet was created in the master bedroom, the master bath was gutted to create a great two sink space and new wood floors were installed. The Blake group has top notch designers, workers, electricians, plumbers and floor installers. Not only was the work completed in the time promised, but it came in under budget! To say that we are happy with the work of the Blake Group is an understatement.

My husband and I were very impressed with the Blake Group. They offered a number of different design options that we could easily visualize thanks to the computerized renderings provided. We were taken to see a variety of materials and the quality of our choices were excellent. The workmen who completed our project were extremely skilled, reliable and neat. They completed the job in the exact amount of time estimated. Rich Gillman was a delight to work from beginning to end. He is passionate about creating the perfect design and he has wonderful ideas and taste. His vision helped us turn our small master bathroom into a gorgeous master bathroom suite. Friends used words like "stunning, spectacular, handsome and amazing to describe our new bathroom. Lastly, Mr. Gillman came to the the job site frequently throughout the project to check on progress, quality of work and to answer questions. The Blake Group accomplished a complete renovation of our newly purchased condo in 2 months. The team of professionals designed and built two walk-in closets, a Butlers pantry, utility closet, additional storage in the master bath to coordinate with the existing built in vanities, and installed two bookcases. One bookcase was designed and built locally and the wall was extended to accommodate it and create a separate space. The wood floors were re-stained and all window trim painted black to coordinate with other finishes. Lighting was installed in every room. Everything was done on budget with a very clear understanding of all costs. My husband and i could not be more pleased with the results and the collaboration. We highly recommend The Blake Group.
