FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Free in-person walkthrough, then a firm written quote - never a guess off a photo. We agree on dates and prep, do the work, and finish with a walkthrough together in daylight before you pay the balance. If something isn't right, it gets fixed first.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
We've worked with every type of customer across Illinois. From custom stain matching on original oak in a North Shore home to back-to-back unit turnovers for a landlord who needs the property rented again in a week. High-end or workhorse, the prep is the same and so is the standard. Customer satisfaction is the only measure that matters to us.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Did they actually walk your floor, or quote you off a photo? Do they check whether there's enough wood left to sand, or just assume? Do they undercut the door jambs and baseboards, or caulk around them and call it done? Do they sand through a full grit sequence, or skip steps to save a day? Do they include three coats of finish, or two and hope you don't notice? Is the crew their own people, or day laborers they met that morning? Do they take pride in the edges and corners, or is it just another job to get off the schedule?
