I had water damage and some serious squeaky floors, so I called them out for an inspection. What I appreciated most was their honesty instead of trying to patch things up for a quick buck, they told me straight up that the damage was bad enough that a proper fix meant full replacement, not a band-aid repair. A lot of companies would’ve just taken the easy money and done a temporary fix, but they leveled with me.
They gave me a fair, competitive quote and did a full flooringinstallation throughout. The whole job was done professionally no more squeaks, no more water damage issues, and the floors look great from room to room. You can tell they care about doing the job right rather than just closing the sale.
Highly recommend if you want a contractor who’s honest about what your floors actually need, not just what’s easiest for them.

Thank you, Connor! We'd rather tell you what the floor actually needs than sell you a quick patch. Glad the inspection was helpful.

So happy with how my floors came out. I had them do the stairs and main floor in my townhouse and it looks amazing. The crew was kind, professional, and always on time, and you can really tell they care about doing things right. Perfect job all around. I'd hire them again in a heartbeat.

I recently had my hardwood floors refinished by FloorCraft Hardwood Flooring, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. From start to finish, the team was professional, punctual, and paid close attention to every detail. They transformed my old, worn out floors into what looks like brand new hardwood.
The craftsmanship speaks for itself the finish is smooth, the color is beautiful, and they left everything clean when the job was done. Communication was great throughout the process, and they made sure I was satisfied every step of the way.
If you’re looking for quality hardwood floor refinishing in the Chicago area, I highly recommend FloorCraft Hardwood Flooring. Excellent workmanship, fair pricing, and outstanding customer service.

FAQs
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Free in-person walkthrough, then a firm written quote - never a guess off a photo. We agree on dates and prep, do the work, and finish with a walkthrough together in daylight before you pay the balance. If something isn't right, it gets fixed first.
What types of customers have you worked with?
We've worked with every type of customer across Illinois. From custom stain matching on original oak in a North Shore home to back-to-back unit turnovers for a landlord who needs the property rented again in a week. High-end or workhorse, the prep is the same and so is the standard. Customer satisfaction is the only measure that matters to us.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Did they actually walk your floor, or quote you off a photo? Do they check whether there's enough wood left to sand, or just assume? Do they undercut the door jambs and baseboards, or caulk around them and call it done? Do they sand through a full grit sequence, or skip steps to save a day? Do they include three coats of finish, or two and hope you don't notice? Is the crew their own people, or day laborers they met that morning? Do they take pride in the edges and corners, or is it just another job to get off the schedule?
