Rob is awesome. I have had Rob come out several times and for each event, Rob has been flawless in his performance of close-up Card Magic. The first event I had him attend was at a school. Rob had prepared several card magic tricks to teach the students and even encouraged them to create a card magic trick on their own, based on the patterns they noticed in the presented Card Magic. A great application of mathematics. The students, middle school students who can be hard to entertain, absolutely loved the Card Magic presentation and they didn't even realize they were learning a thing. He was all the students could talk about for days! Wow! I followed this event up with my own fund raising event for the Team to End Aids Marathon training program. I had a cook out and asked Rob to donate his time to the event for several hours, which he obliged. Again, he was full of amazement! The card magic that he performed this time for adults was equally amazing as he had performed for the students. He was able to adjust easily to a variety of abilities and found ways to include all spectators. For example, he was able to find ways for a friend who is visually impaired to participate in the presentations including her in the magic effortlessly. All around spectacular! I would highly recommend Rob for any event that you have planned. He will amaze each and every person that he comes across. Everyone will be guaranteed to have a good time.

Rob performed at a family birthday celebration I hosted in Mid-August 2014. There were about 20 people at the event ranging in age from about 8 to 76 -- the majority of the group were adults.Rob was great. He performed for about 90 minutes which included teaching one of his tricks to the group. Rob brought extra cards so that we all could practice. His magic tricks were very entertaining and some, quite simply, unbelievable. He was funny, engaging and really involved the audience in his performance. My family is still talking about how much they enjoyed him.Rob's price was affordable and he was very flexible in terms of the amount of time he was to perform and the structure of his show. All in all I give him a perfect 10.

My wife and I sat next to Rob at a restaurant, where he was shuffling through a deck. I saw him do a really cool trick, started talking to him, and spent the next hour engrossed in a deep conversation with this heady and good hearted man -- interspersed, of course, with exhilarating card tricks. Rob is truly special. It was a thrill to meet someone so soulful and skilled.

I was lucky enough to stumble upon this amazing show one evening during the German Fest near my home in Lincoln Square and while I typically do not stop to watch street performers, I did not regret stopping to view these incredible card magic tricks! I am usually a pretty skeptical girl and I am not going to lie, at first I had my reservations however, these magic tricks left me speechless and still wondering how this very talented and mysterious magician even made them possible! This show is definitely worth following or stopping for, it is jam packed with surprises and will leave even the most skeptical of people questioning their reality.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We talk on the phone to discuss your event. When we have established that we'd like to work together, I send you a simple one-page contract so we are literally on the same page.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been doing this since 1973. I watch, read, study, create, practice, rehearse, and perform, and learn from my audiences. I'm a member of both the Society of American Magicians and the International Brotherhood of Magicians.
