As a two-person team of certified makeup artists, professionally trained in both domestic (Chicago based) and international (Israel-Tel Aviv) programs, we truly believe every woman is beautiful by nature, and that the best in method and makeup can tremendously enhance it!
We practice beauty, theatrical, media and clinical application which means you can come to us for more than just events but also for fun girls' night out, private application lessons, makeup for photo shoots and even wild looks for Halloween!
We pride ourselves in delivering not only stunning work but also making a real, lasting connection with every client by ensuring that they are comfortable with the look we have designed for them during the application process and after.

As an out of town Mother of the Groom, I was anxious about finding a makeup artist for that very special day! I needed a professional who was willing to LISTEN to what I said and translate that into the perfect wedding look. I found JUST what I wanted and needed with the "Lees" of Beauty in Colors!
From my very first email to my final makeup application, these two very talented women were professional, attentive, supportive, and FUN!
My makeup was JUST what I wanted...A more polished, glamorous version of ME!! It stayed on throughout a day that began at 2 P.M. and ended at 1 the next morning! Those under eye circles...GONE!! NEVER have my eyes popped so!!! VAVOOM!!!!

Leeraz did an amazing job on my makeup for a recent headshot. She did an excellent job and I didn't look "made up" in my photos, which was what I wanted...but I looked great--even skin tone, good color, no undereye circles, etc! Amazing. Plus she is very easy to talk to and fun!

I've worked with Leeraz and Lee several times over the past year. They've met all my expectations in terms of each look I've tried to achieve when using their services. I've gone to them for help with both makeup and hair on a professional level as well as for fun. Walked away feeling not a drop less that bee-you-tiful and confident! Lee did such a great job doing my makeup for my wedding in 2012. I was really worried at first because I had booked a different makeup artist that canceled two weeks before the wedding day and had no time for a trial session with 'Beauty in Colors', but when I called and explained the situation to Lee she calmed me down and worked with me to come up with a plan B.
Lee asked me to send her a photo of myself and a few photos of makeup looks that I like and we discussed them over the phone until she had a good idea of what I was going for.
On the day of the wedding Lee showed up 20 minutes earlier just to make sure we had time to talk,
she did my makeup just as I asked, not too little and not too much, and it turned out amazing!
I could not have been happier with the service I got, Lee was so on top of the situation and just saved the day. Most of all she was professional and reliable which I learned the hard way, is the most important thing. I will 100% recommend 'Beauty in Colors' to anyone I know who is getting married!
