This company stressed me out from the very beginning. On the day the work was to start after getting half the deposit they were an hour late but wait they called an hour after their expected and agreed upon arrival time. Not before the way a professional should
I called them and said I'm cancelling I mentioned I had 3 days in the state of Illinois to cancel and request a refund. Why didn't I go with my gut. My spouse, she said oh just let them come and do the work.
I said ok after they gave us a crap story about needing to go get supplies? Fine I'm at work my spouse calls me upset that one of the workers is disrespecting her by using an unprofessional term that made her uncomfortable.
After the work is completed I get home from work and the cement looks and feels HORRIBLE. I said this looks like a broom was run through the job and she said they used a broom. I was like WHAT I thought they went to get supplies, she said yeah they came back with a broom and a bucket. This job looks horrible, so I called and explained the jagged look and the broom strokes. I was told give it time to settle. I'm no idiot I knew that wasn't going to settle smooth. But I gave it two days. We called and was told they would be here today 8/12/25. It's 5pm and no show. So my next move is to bring in someone else to represent me.
