Introduction: I have been a massage therapist officially for the last 10 years. Unofficially, I began at a very young age as the designated massage therapist for my entire family. I truly love to do massage and have been told many times that I have "a gift". I believe massage to not be just a once-in-a-while treat but a necessary facet in caring for one's total self: mind, body and spirit. I work intuitively as well as very deeply and respectfully employing deep breathing techniques, stretches, essential oils (at client's permission), as well as my forearms and elbows. I also do hot stone massage. My goal in any massage is to have open communication about the concerns the client may be experiencing and to address those concerns as thoroughly as possible in the time allotted. I also take great care that my clients feel safe and respected throughout, and it is my hope that a healing environment of caring and trust is created.
