My fees adhere to state regulations for notarial acts. Travel and after-hours services might incur additional charges. Discounts are available for multiple documents notarized in one session.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When working with a new customer, I begin by understanding their specific notarization needs over a brief phone call or email. This helps me ensure that their documents are prepared correctly for the notarization process. Upon our scheduled appointment, I verify the identity of the signers using state-approved identification methods. It's essential that all parties signing are present and understand the document they're signing without any duress. Once the document is signed and the notarization is complete, I record the transaction in my notary journal. I always encourage clients to ask any questions they might have before, during, or after the notarization to ensure clarity and confidence in the process.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have successfully completed a state-approved notary public education course which covered the legal, ethical, and procedural aspects of notarization. This comprehensive training ensured I am well-versed in the notarial acts required by our state.
