- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
All session fees depend upon the needs of the event. I am always willing to listen and create a package that works for everyone!
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I love meeting new people and learning what makes them come alive, so that I can try to capture that "something" in their photos. I always begin with either a phone call or in-person meeting to learn more about clients, so that we feel friendly and familiar when it comes time for our session together.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a technology teacher by trade and actually teach photography to young people. I am a firm believer that teaching is also the best way to continue your own learning, so I learn every day! As a photographer, I have taken Amy & Jordan Demos' Shooting and Editing, Posing, and Business courses, Lighting with Zack & Jody Gray, Fine Art Photography with Emily Sacco of Boulder, and I have the pleasure of shooting with and learning from my many photographer peers.
