- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
In some cases, a client may wish to cancel the shoot and request a refund of the deposit. Unfortunately, I do not offer deposit refunds, as a portion of that payment goes to the Thumbtack platform as a fee for your request. Additionally, this is a common policy among most vendors, as the deposit serves as a confirmation of your genuine intent to move forward with the photoshoot.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I usually suggest scheduling a call right away so we can go over all the details and also have a chance to get to know each other. After that, I document everything and send it in our Thumbtack chat — that way, none of the important information gets lost.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Most of my clients are truly the best — very respectful and thoughtful people who value my creativity and the effort I put into my work. In return, I do everything I can to deliver results that leave a lasting impression and create the most positive memories of working with me.
