Diet Strychnine Corp. began in San Francisco in 1999 as a design collective consisting of talented mavericks, creating interactive and graphic designs for dotcom start ups, corporate giants and no-name musicians. Initially motivated by our pursuit to reject the inescapable formula of contemporary web design, we set our sights on becoming the best interactive designers alive. Over the past 5 years, we have set up offices in New York City and Chicago. We've come a long way in 8 years, making the leap from writing business plans for novices in the 90's to collaborating with the planet's best brands today, creating award-winning output in the process.  DS 9 has achieved agency status through our designs for some of the world's most recognized and respected companies such as Yahoo!, Conde Nast, Warner Bros Records and Microsoft, yet we have stayed true to the underground, true to our reputation as the Houdini of the industry, producing websites for boutique brands including Georgina Goodman, Rag & Bone, Junior Senior and U'Luvka Vodka. Even as we dance with the big guys, our mantra remains: No company is too small, and no dream is too big. (However we like multi-national conglomerates as well.  We are equal opportunity and do not participate in anti-World Trade Organization riots) Now that we've become nationally recognized and sought-after designers with a glossy resume and even a hipster following in Queens (the New Brooklyn) and all that, phase two of the DS 9 evolution is complete. It's time to raise the bar even higher than that Soviet poll vaulter who kept smashing his own records even though nobody else could come close to matching his vaulting skills. His name is Sergei Bubka. Our name is Diet Strychnine. We both elevate. We both raise the bar. We both believe you can't have Glasnost without Perestroika.
