I'm passionate for teaching and very people-oriented. I have been a language instructor and professor for over 25 years in several prestigious universities. I have a BA in Languages (English, French & Spanish) and Major in Translation. I also have a MA in Education as well as a MA in Hispanic Linguistics (University of Illinois at Chicago). What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My currently hourly rate is $50 for 1-on-1 sessions. All classes are designed and customized to the learner's needs, specific goals, and learning style. I'm currently offering a special package of 3 weekly classes for $120. In addition to that, I also offer group rates for family members or friends who desire to learn together. These group sessions are $30 per learner.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I usually have a conversation on the phone or a small online meeting with the client to find out about the student's goals and individual needs for learning or improving the language. I design the program based on the student's needs.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
BA in Languages, Major in Translation Teacher Trainer Diploma Educational Coaching Diploma. MA in Education MA in Hispanic Linguistics 25+ years of experience teaching college students and private companies.
