- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
All of our services can be completed online, over the phone or in-person at our downtown Chicago office. Our process typically works as follows: 1. We'll have you take our online questionnaire that asks some general questions about your tax situation. 2. We'll set up a phone call to ensure we have a complete understanding of your tax situation and answer any questions or concerns you might have. 3. We'll prepare an engagement letter for you that you can e-sign in our secure client portal that outlines your specific tax situation and the price of our services. 4. We'll prepare your return and upload a watermarked copy of it to your client portal for us to review. 5. Once we get your approval, we'll E-file it with the IRS We're always available to answer any of your questions via phone, text or email to make sure you're always up-to-date on the status of your tax return.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Authorized E-file with the IRS & listed as a preferred Tax Accountant on the IRS website.
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
One of my clients owed the IRS over $70,000. Once I became familiar with her situation, I suggested that she amend her 1040 tax return. She ended up receiving a refund of over $20,000.00 and no longer owed any money to the IRS.
