Introduction: Trillium is an eclectic quartet with a repertoire ranging in style from Celtic to bluegrass to ragtime to swing, which appeals to all ages and most musical tastes! We're equally at home whether playing for a wedding ceremony or reception, anniversary or Christmas party, wine and cheese party, art gallery opening, library program, coffee house, retirement or birthday party, festival, house concert, or winery. We're able to play a program of totally acoustic background instrumentals, or perform a full-length concert or anything in between. Although we're not a bar band, we do occasionally play bars which book high-energy traditional Irish music for celebrations such as St. Patrick's Day. Musicians are: * Mim Eichmann - hammered dulcimer and vocals * Ed Hall (International Fingerstyle Guitar Champion at Walnut Valley) - guitar, banjo and vocals * Jonathan DeSouza - fiddle, mandolin and vocals * Doug Lofstrom - bass Trillium has played throughout IL, WI and IN, and has had music from their three CDs played on folk, Celtic and bluegrass stations throughout the U.S., Canada, Europe and Australia. Their style is from Celtic to ragtime to bluegrass.
