My experience with using thumbtack and MDF Home Repair was excellent! I have never gone online to acquire home services, so it was unknown territory. I answered the questions from Thumbtack and had a reply from them in less than 5 minutes for services in my area. I was able to text MDF for initial contact and then set up appointment. They were quick and very professional!! I will definitely use Thumbtack and MDF Home Repair and Remodeling again!

I like Dave, who responded to me quickly, was professional, and demonstrated good knowledge about his work. I had him fix three doors in my home which all have had minor issues that have been a nuisance for me for years. In the end I was fortunate the issues all really were minor so I was charged significantly less than the quote. If I need more work, I'd happily hire him again.

Dave was beyond wonderful. After removing an old door knob part (that had been stumping repairmen for at least 10 years - no kidding), he identified that it was broken and couldn't take a repair. He installed a new door lever in a minute or so, cleaned up, and was pleasantly finished. As he was about to leave, I asked if he could help me carry in a new TV from my car. He did so cheerily, unpacked it, put the feet on, and plugged it in - all without charging us. By the way, his charge for installing the new door knob was LESS THAN HALF than the charge quoted by two other handymen we contacted. We are recommending him to everyone we know.
