What I learned is that TDH is a very fair and honest company and I decided to go with them for various reasons. I used Thumbtack to get some quotes. I wanted a quote from TDH because of the high reviews and because they sell Trane which is what I already have for a furnace and humidifier. I was thinking their quote might be the most expensive due to the high reviews and Trane products they sell. After talking with Tim who came on site to view the job, he provided me a very good price; it was my 3rd quote. I asked how much more for a more efficient unit (seer 16 vs 13) and the cost was $600 more but Tim was respectful and asked why I wanted a more efficient unit. I told him well it should save me more money and he said maybe $20-$30 more a year. I did my research and he was correct. I would not make my money back unless I qualified for a rebate if I had ComEd. I didn’t appreciate the other vendors not providing me this information. Also one of the previous vendors who provided me a quote ask me the status and I told them I was going with TDH and then all of a sudden they could lower their price down $600, $200 less than TDH. I was surprised but also a little upset because why didn’t they just provided me their best price. TDH still offered the best warranty with parts and labor and been in business for over 30 years. I decided I wanted to do business with them. I hope once you do your research you will come to the same conclusion.

I replaced two condensers and two furnaces, one in attic one in basement. Also the condensers had to be moved to a different location. They came one or two days after i requested a quote, and gave me an immediate estimate. After the job was done, there were couple issues that they resolved in less than 24 hours. They had to come back 3 times to resolve it, but they resolved it without any further issues. That's when you know they are a real 5 star company.

After being totally screwed over by crappy local HVAC companies to the tune of $900 furnace repairs, we contacted Tim and his team. They were amazing. From responding clearly and quickly to being upfront about cost, I felt safe and for the first time, and felt like a company actually listened to our concerns. We called Saturday and by Monday we had a brand new furnace . It was reasonably priced and it works like a dream. I don’t have to worry any more, and for that I’m so thankful! I really enjoyed working with TDH Mechanical all the way thru the project (from quoting to completion) They installed a new furnace in my house. The quote they provided was very detailed and complete. Many other people's quotes just had price. With TDH, I knew what type of furnace, BTU size, warranty, timing to install, price All the important details that I wanted to know, without having to ask for it. They called a few days before to confirm the install time. The installers came on time, did a nice job, and cleaned up before they left. Great job
