Finally had the opportunity to use the suit and it was perfect. Katie did a great job tailoring my suit and I'm very glad how it turned out at my wedding. She finished faster than expected and gave me updates on the progress. Again thank you so much for helping me out. I apologize for the late review, I could not post it yet because my wife would have seen it hahaha

I've used Katie twice for costumes for Halloween and a comic convention. Sam from Trick r Treat was a costume I'd wanted to do for years, but, and I swear to god, you CANNOT find adult orange footie pajamas online. I found every color but orange. So Katie made them! The costume was comfortable, warm (great for October), and still holding up perfectly after years. See the picture for how perfect the comparison is to the original. Exact same experience for my Avatar Aang costume. I was the hit of the convention. I guess Aang isn't seen too much already and I was getting stopped every other minute for a picture. Katie worked with me to figure out what we could use that I already owned to streamline (red converse was her idea, loved it). Frankly, I felt like the avatar. One of the most fun days in recent memory. I also won a couple of costume contests with her work :)

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I grew up learning how to sew from my mother and grandmother. I have always mended and tailored my own clothes but when I moved to Chicago I got into cosplay. And From there, it's history!
