FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I look forward to meeting new clients. This will usually be at -but not limited to- an onsite consultation. My goal is to get know who I may potentially be of service to, make sure the customers know who they will be putting their trust into when it comes to their home remodel or project, and getting to know the customers vision & goal for the project. The goal is get on the same page for vision & goal, further smooth out any plans, ensure everyone knows they are winning, & have transparent communication over scope of work, the value & service we bring, & the value of what’s being done.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
At the age of 13, I was helping my dad in his woodshop assembling cabinets, doors, etc. At 15, when I wasn’t in school, I was helping my dad & other family members with remodeling. I learned sequencing, I learned carpentry, I learned proper demo, I learned safety on a job site. 18 & so on, I learned more working alongside my father remodeling residential & commercial properties, finishing basements, & installing custom high end cabinet & kitchens.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Vet out a contractors/organizations’ attitude. Does it feel like they just want to get a job done & get a paycheck? Or are they engaged, asking questions, making suggestions, confirming what can possibly be done & even questioning? Completion is important but also making sure who you are meeting with is getting on board with your vision & goals for the project.
