Introduction: Our company has proudly been serving the area for over 34 years now. We are a family-owned and -operated company. We work closely with our clients to actualize their ideas and ensure what type of landscape they want. If you ask David, Georgia and Adam Reithel, husband, wife, and son and co-owners of D. The company was founded by ornamental horticulture expert David Reithel in 1978 as a small nursery to provide services, including landscape design, installation, and maintenance services. The company focuses on selections of both ornamental and native plant materials that prove to withstand Northern Illinois' extreme weather. Knowledge of plant disease and insect problems and cultural requirements have aided our customers in selecting the "right plants for the right places". Reithel's prides itself on being not just a nursery, landscaper and maintenance expert, but a grower and information source as well. With five acres of field production and a combined three acres of display gardens, they are thrilled to help customers learn more about plants and how to obtain the best plant material for the landscape.
