Patty just completed the staging of our 130+ year old Victorian in Oak Park. I could not be more thrilled with the creative way she used our things and then added her accessories and additional furniture. The house looks 100 times better than when she walked through the door. I've enjoyed showing off her work to my friends and have my fingers crossed that it sells quickly. I have no doubt that her staging has added value and really shows off the house.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Absolutely. I participate in workshops at the annual conference of the Real Estate Staging Association (national trade group). I also attend as many continuing education seminars and classes locally as well as on-line as possible. It is critical to the success of home staging that the professional remain current and apprised of new design trends as well as market conditions. In addition to my foundational training, I have added the following specialties: VPS Vacant Property Specialist with SAR CCC Certified Color Consultant via CSP (Canadian Staging Professionals) Completed Real Estate Photography Course with SAR Gained RESA-PRO designation (Real Estate Staging Association)
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have experience and/or training in design, sales, construction, and real estate appraisal . Home staging is a perfect fit for me; it combines the creative work of design with the practical goal of marketing a property.
