Mary wasn't very organized. I had to call her to see what time my cleaning was scheduled for. However, the supervisor who actually cleaned our apartment did an excellent job.

Mary quoted me 95 dollars to do downstairs and 21/2 baths on phone I never looked at online quote. When they got to my house were talking like 300 dollars something about travel time which she never mentioned before.so we agreed on 120 and they would do what they could.They had 4 people and stayed 1 hour only got my downstairs done living room dining room kitchen and family and vacuumed den not dusted no utility room either.I would say cleaning was good but not great.Also one of my flower pots got broken. So still looking for good cleaning service.

Kathy, I am sorry you were unhappy with the work which was provided at the revised upon price. I went back and reviewed my quote to you, which was given via Thumbtack as follows: Kathy with the information that is provided, I would estimate the first time would be $300 - ? Following appointments or maintenance would be smart to do more the first time. But by all means, let HAYS Cleaning design what works for you. Mary 708 598-3819 A house of your size would usually involve about ten hours of work; this is why the original quote was for $300. When my team and I arrived at your home, you informed us that you only wanted the first floor of your home cleaned in preparation for your Bunco party. I am not sure where you got that the $95 figure from but it was not from me or my staff. Our standard rate is $30 per man hour. And yes, we do have a minimum service hours to be contracted for if a location is more than 10 miles from our office. It does not makes sense to travel that far for a three-hour service call. I did agree to come out because based on your review of my $300 quote, it would have made the trip cost effective. After you informed us that you only wanted the first floor cleaned, we did agree on the $120 for this visit; this was for four service hours (4 team members who work for one hour each totals four service hours). We completed the work that the time frame and budget you set forth allowed us to provide. Again, I am sorry you were disappointed.

How did you get started doing this type of work?
I was a tile installer and a welder before I became self employed doing cleaning. I have always enjoyed the physical labor of my work. I appreciate seeing and knowing that what we provide matters. I can go into a job and see kittens and children together and it already makes my day better. The dirt just needs us to relocate it.
