- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing on both Cell Phone Repair and Graphic Design is done on a Client by Client basis. Design - As no two design jobs are the same, we try to get an idea of what is needed, what is expected and what solution best fits what the customer is trying to accomplish. We then come up with a few scenarios so that the customer can choose what fits in their budget. Always looking to accomplish two goals. 1) Absolute customer satisfaction 2) The most affordable rate possible. Cell Phone Repair - There are prices that stay constant such as Labor and some other services. However, when it comes to replacing parts there are thousands if not more models of phones and part prices are always changing so once we know the model number and which part needs to be replaced then we can give a more accurate estimate.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
Design - I've always been into anything Design. I studied Interior Design and have done some work there. I paint, mostly abstract paintings and then there is the graphic design which was like finding the perfect job that allows me to utilize all my passions, customer satisfaction, helping build business' and design. Phones - I was always one of those people who would take things apart only to put them back together. And, I've ever been into software and knowing the functionality of electronics, how to program them to do different things etc. So when the opportunity presented itself I saw no other way but to act on it.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Design - The most common design job is business documents, business cards and flyers. These are the jobs that customers change and re-order most often. Although, most clients are now coming to understand that web presence is as important as word of mouth. Phones - Screen repairs and charger port repairs are by far the most common. Unlocking would be the next runner up.
