After moving into our new home, we hired PJ for a big project to replace all the baseboard trim and paint all the window/door trim in the home, paint our fireplace and mantel, as well as knock out a small half-wall in the family room to open up the space. We had a few other contractors come out to provide estimates for the project, but after PJ came out to provide an estimate, we could tell immediately that he was the guy we wanted for the project. In his estimate, he covered every detail that we asked for and provided options with different cost tiers. From start to finish of the project, PJ was professional, respectful, and meticulous. He showed up on time every day and if there were any slight delays he notified us right away. Throughout the course of the project, we encountered a few challenges including improperly leveled floors, small patches of black mold in our bathrooms, and improperly sealed windows, and PJ was very flexible and took time to remediate these problems even though it wasn’t a part of the original project. He also provided expert advice when we were unsure and needed guidance. Everything that we asked for, he was able to achieve down to the tiniest detail, and his craftsmanship shows— our house looks beautiful. I can’t recommend PJ’s Woodworking and Carpentry enough; we certainly look forward to having him back for future renovation!

I had PJ do some baseboard trim work on my basement stairway. He did an exceptional job! He does very high quality work and makes sure it’s exactly what you are looking for. He was always right on time and I will definitely use him again.

PJ did a fantastic job, and I highly recommend him! We needed crown molding installed in a nursery, and he was able to complete the project quickly and the work looks fantastic! He was very responsive, offered fair pricing, had great communication throughout the estimate and project, and made scheduling easy. We’ll definitely be reaching out to him again for future projects!

PJ completed a wainscoting and accent wall project for us and helped us transform the upper level of our home. Not only is the finished product absolutely gorgeous but PJ was incredibly professional and helpful throughout the process. PJ did an amazing job on my projects. He added a trim on the interior border of an unfinished window that had exposed insulation/filling in it, and he replaced a banister in a stairwell for me. He came out one day to give a quote and a thorough explanation of the work and costs, which I really appreciated (many thumbtack people will say "ya ya, I can do it" and won't give a true quote unless you agree to book them for the job). He did a high quality job and got the work done in two mornings. My windows now look seamless, and we have a banister that he carefully matched to the stain and shape of other banisters in the house. I will definitely hire him again!
