We are extremely satisfied with the project Hue Crew completed in our home. Buyer beware- you can get the job done but it needs to be watched closely. I hired HC to paint my bathroom cabinet. They were responsive, the price initially felt fair and the painter was on time, pleasant to work with, and efficient.
That said, I would strongly recommend paying close attention especially during the final walkthrough. I should’ve waved the red flag when the company first quoted one price and then raised it by more than 50% after saying they hadn’t looked closely enough at my photos. I decided to move forward, but the finished job had several issues: missed spots, areas where paint had pooled, splatters elsewhere in the room, and cabinet doors reinstalled crooked. The job also wrapped up several hours earlier than expected, and because I was working from home, I wasn’t able to inspect everything as thoroughly as I should have.
I take responsibility for not reviewing the work more carefully in the moment. However, I also expected that obvious craftsmanship issues would be addressed without pushback. They even blamed some on opening the cabinets too early, when it would’ve been impossible to inspect the entire job without it. Instead, I was offered a $20 discount and then contacted repeatedly for payment, and when I reached out the next day after noticing additional issues, I received no response.
If you choose to hire HC, the work may be fine as long as you’re able to supervise closely and review every detail before they leave. In my experience, though, the follow-through and customer support were lacking.

Upon completion, we require a final walk through and a project sign off, we do not leave the premises unless this is signed off on and completed. You monitored the work as we do advise our clients to ensure satisfactions. The job was finished a bit earlier due to your request to use a sprayer rather than a roller, I have explained this. I have responded to your texts giving you advice for the touch ups and have credited for the missed part that shouldn’t take more than 2 minutes to touch up on. Since you did sign off on the final walk through document, we have considered the job done and satisfied with. We don’t have issues correcting anything that isn’t right in the eye of our clients, as this is our main goal, for our clients to be satisfied, but this needs to be addressed on site during the walk through, not after you say your satisfied and our worker leaves the premise.
