Yes, Illinois Requires Continuing Education Before Renewal of My Plumbing License Is Allowed. Also My Heating & A/C training Requires Me To Be certified by the EPA And Stay Up To Date On The Latest Technology.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
In My High School Small Engines Class We Had A Representative From Universal Technical Institute Do A Presentation On the Opportunity To get Training And Education In The Automotive Or HVAC Industry. Not having Any Direction for A Career After High School I Was Drawn To This Profession As it Was Explained To Me That It Paid Well And Involved Somethings I Already Knew About Myself Like Working With My Hands, Meeting New People, Problem Solving etc. I Enrolled The Following Year And The rest Is History.
